Tim plays some more with the underwater camera (and I do the fancy editing!)
Tim said this coral was a beautiful purple
Tim said it was hard to see the fish through the mask and then the lcd of the camera, so he just pressed the button enough times hoping to catch some fish. I tried in the editing software to highlight the fish, but mostly the colors weren't very vibrant. Realized later we had the settings wrong.
Actual fish alert!
Tim said this was the actual color (although it took some editing to get it like this)
Trying to hide
Not sure what this was supposed to be, but liked the feel of the photo anyway
Tim's upside down self-portrait
I believe that dog became my dog for a few hours. I didn't call him over, he just came over, sniffed my clothes and laid down. When he wasn't touching me, he scooched over until he was right up next to me. Don't tell Humphrey or Sherman.
Hiking the beach near our resort
Loved all the colors
Looks like climatis...
The water at this beach looked like a swimming pool
The water was cool, but refreshing
Trusty otterbox on my arm
Wondering how far out I can go before the sand drops off?
After 10 mins of watching my camera, Tim decides he's waited long enough. Buying those flippers years ago turns out to have been a great investment.
Not too many folks with whom to share the beach
I love the thought of beach sand. Not the way it actually sticks to the skin.
A Sea Monster (Tim)
A diving sea monster
There was a lot of kite surfing at the beach today
The sea monster stealthily sneaks up to shore
Teddi - your Keen's have now been to Ecuador, Peru and Hawaii. Thanks for letting me borrow them for the past year.
The sea monster being friendly... Puff the Magic Dragon lived by the sea and frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Hanalee (which of course, was Hanalei).
Those guys were pretty well muscled.
I can see myself trying to do this - dangling from the line, board half-way across the ocean and the kite dragging me to who-know's-where?
